Everything here revolves around these cute little creatures - the Zeedles. Zeedles are virtual, magical plant beings, there are over 130 different ones that you can unlock or purchase throughout your journey.
Much like their real-world plant inspirations, Zeedles have specific preferences when it comes to weather, temperature, and so on. 🌱☀️ As their caretaker, it’s your job to make your Zeedle is happy, and you can do this by
checking in every day and giving it a little cuddle... 🤗
or planting it on the real-world map, where it experiences our actual weather in real-time. 🌦️🌍
Making sure your Zeedle grows and thrives is vital because our world is under attack from the Evil Lord CO the 2nd from the Disposable Islands - the embodied climate change villain. 😈💨
Whenever a climate change-induced extreme weather event occurs in our real world, such as a heatwave or a thunderstorm, the Evil Lord attacks at the same location within the game together with his vicious monster army. 🌀🔥
And that’s when you take your Zeedles and drive him away! It’s a lot of fun! 🎉🌿
Through real-world weather, we make genuine climate phenomena tangible within our game. While playing, you'll learn a lot about our Earth, nature, and the climate. 🌎📚
And at the same time, you’re directly contributing to a good cause: a part of all in-game expenses, as well as all Marketplace profits, are going to real green projects all around the globe! 🌳💚
