02 The Zeedles - Basics 👾💚
Perhaps you've already heard about it: NFTs. 🧐 But what exactly is that?
An NFT is something like a digital collectible item. 🖼️ Imagine you have a unique sticker in a virtual sticker book that you can show, trade, or sell to others online. This sticker has a unique serial number and a strictly limited edition, thereby possessing a special collector's value.
And the exact same thing applies to our Zeedles! 🌱 In addition to their in-game-only versions (Non-NFTs), they also exist as limited, unique NFTs with one of four possible rarity levels:
Common with an edition of max. 1,000 pieces each
Rare with 350
Epic with 150
and Legendary with only 50! 🌟
If you, for example, own a Cataco Zeedle of “Epic” rarity in its NFT version, this means that, besides your own Cataco, there are only 149 other Catacos in the entire world and there will ever only be that many max!
The unique serial number and the edition affiliation tells you everything about the origin of your Cataco!
Besides the collector's value, owning your Cataco in the NFT version provides you with additional benefits, such as:
NFT Zeedles automatically earn magical Fruiz in the game, with which you can get more NFTs 🍇
NFT Zeedles can be traded and resold on the Zeedz marketplace and other NFT marketplaces. 💸
